The YouWELL Project unites the efforts of 5 partners – the leading organisation is Teachers’ Union “Podkrepa” (Bulgaria), expertise partner in the field of coaching and mentoring of teachers is National Management School (Bulgaria), partners in the project are Teachers’ Urade union
(North Macedonia), and Youth Municipal Centre Celje Youth Center (Slovenia). NMCT (Belgium), is an expert partner, joining the project in order to develop a training program for 15 experienced teachers from Bulgaria, North Macedonia, and Slovenia to become mentor-coaches to their novice teachers colleagues.
The consortium of partners will train experienced teachers on using coaching and mentoring in the induction and professional development of their colleagues, who are just entering the teaching profession. In 24 months the program will be developed – with main outcome, the mentor-coach training for senior teachers, to engage novice teachers in mentoring-coaching process will be piloted. Afterwards we will map the impact from our work.
